Did you ever question yourself “How is your lifestyle that you are living?”. Is it healthy or not? Your first step to a great lifestyle is to recognize what it is that you are doing wrong?
Here are a few basic steps in our day to day life which may help us to stay healthy.
Sleep well and sleep right. Your body needs to recover and regenerate itself after a long working day. 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night is essential.
Never start your day with caffeine. Instead, have plain milk or fruit or biscuit first and about 20minutes later, have tea or coffee.
Break your fast. The most important meal of the day, undoubtedly, is breakfast. The first food intake after a minimum gap of 7 to 8 hours, it acts as a fuel to jump-start the body.
Eat on Time. Eat your meals at regular intervals. Don’t skip any. Skipping meals or eating irregularly can lead to many other health complications.
While traveling we prefer to buy easy to eat meals like burger or samosas on our way, you may end up eating your daily quota calorie in one hit. If you travel long distances, plan ahead and carry a healthy meal.
Stay hydrated. Drink lots of water and herbal teas. And always carry a water bottle with you while traveling.
Be on the move. Be active. Get going wherever you can. Don’t let your job chain you to the desk all day. Get up go for short walks, get some fresh air every 2 hours or so. Even at home walk for an hour instead of watching TV or, you can go to the gym or practice yoga.
